Session Dates:
Winter/Spring 2008

Mission Statement: The YMCA of Saginaw is an association of all people united in a common effort to put Judeo-Christian principles into practice through programs that enrich the spirit, mind and body for all.

Purpose: Judeo-Christian values of the YMCA is evident in everything we do.

  • We integrate the four core values of character development; caring, honesty, respect and responsibility, into all activities, programs, and everything we say and do.
  • We appreciate the sacred gift of a healthy spirit, mind and body.
  • We recognize the worth of all people and work for interracial understanding.
  • We encourage all people to be responsible members of their families and of our community.
  • It is the staff’s responsibility to assist the members and other employees in realizing the purposes of the YMCA.

It is our philosophy that, within the limits of available funding, no individual will be denied access to YMCA memberships, programs or services due to a proven inability to pay the full cost of participation.

To that end, we provide financial assistance to those who need financial help in order to participate in YMCA programs.
