SPORTS CAMPS (7-11 YEARS)

YMCA Hoops Academy: Children 7-11 will have fun learning the basic fundamentals of basketball such as: dribbling, shooting, passing, playing defense among others. Ages 12-15 will Master the Triple Threat by learning skills like: dribble, pass and shoot. Become an all-around athlete by improving your nutrition, flexibility, athleticism and focus. Kids who participate in sports camps will develop the YMCA characteristics of: Respect, Responsibility, Caring and Honesty. Prepare to compete at the next level both athletically and academically by mastering skills like: focus, note-taking and communication.

 
Hoops Schedule: 7-11 year olds - June 16-20; 9:00 am - 12:00 pm
  12-15 year olds - June 23-27; 9:00 am - 12:00 pm
  15-18 year olds - August 4-8; 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

 
YMCA Camp Fees: Full Facility Members: $65.00; Non-Members $85.00


Pom Camp: Students interested in joining pom pon or dance squad learn audution tips, basic dance skills, condition and stretching, and pom technique. Campers will help choreograph their own routine. Campers will perform a grand finale at the end of the week for their family and friends.

YOUTH GOLF CAMP
Golfers age 6-16 will receive 40 hours of professional instruction at Delta College from PGA and Certified Instructors.

A nutritious lunch will be provided each day. Recreation time including swimming, movies and crafts. Transportation on you own to Delta College. Call 753-7721, for details. Space is limited - register today! No equipment necessary.

Fee: $175 / week per person

Schedule: Monday-Friday 9:00 am - 5:00 pm @ Delta College
Weeks of June 16 - 20 & June 23 - 27
